Rejuvenating Women protects survivors of human trafficking by providing a safe and compassionate environment by running an 18-24 month restoration program in a 5,000 square foot house.

Rejuvenating women is a faith-based, non-profit organization committed to providing hope and restoration to those enslaved in human trafficking. We are committed to developing relationships with the girls and women who are deeply wounded by being a victim of human trafficking by loving each and every girl right where she is at…without conditions or judgment.

Our Mission

“Providing hope and restoration to victims and survivors of human trafficking.”

Through complex trauma and substance abuse recovery counseling, free legal services, individual and group mentoring, mental and physical health care needs, in-depth life skills development and a rent-free long-term residential holistic trauma informed care program, women can begin their journey to freedom.

Our Restored Wings Restoration Home is the first and only one of its kind in our state. There are no other facilities whose focus is solely geared toward the female who’s been under the control of a person or group of people for financial gain.

Our Vision

“Empowerment of all survivors of human trafficking to lead healthy, independent lives.”

Human trafficking definition is described as Trafficking in Persons as the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons, by means of the threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability or of the giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person, for the purpose of exploitation. Exploitation shall include, at a minimum, the exploitation of the prostitution of others or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labor or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal of organs. There is an application process and she has to have been trafficked, in any form in order to qualify for our in-home program.(1)

We work to increase community awareness and coordinate the identification of human trafficking, assist in community education, advocacy, provision of culturally and linguistically sensitive victim services, and efforts to ensure the investigation and prosecution of human traffickers if needed. We have partnered with several agencies and organizations; including all divisions of law enforcement, in order to better support and help exploited women and girls escaping violence.

In our own community, women and girls often suffer from violence, shame, sexual exploitation, high anxiety, complex trauma, feelings of unworthiness, anger and resentment. This occurs even toward others who are often members of their own family. Rejuvenating women is a community of people dedicated to breaking down barriers of shame and guilt. We do this by raising awareness of human trafficking in Nebraska and investing in the lives of girls and women enslaved in this horrific crime on an individual basis. Everything that we do is filtered through a Biblical lens. We believe that faith, prayer, and biblical truth have a unique ability to transform lives. Although faith is the reason that “we do what we do”, we assist female victims and survivors of human trafficking regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, age, ancestry, disability, handicapped status, veteran status, marital status, or political affiliation.

RW values all women no matter their background or beliefs.

We are able to offer support of local and state law enforcement as well as government agencies in the areas of training and investigations through the national human trafficking hotline.

We come alongside the victim and survivor loving her where she is at while doing life with them and to see them restored physically, emotionally and spiritually. We provide vocational training, education and redemption support to equip them for an independent future with help of our weekly support groups and a no charge counseling therapy program.
